Anyone who watches the NBA knows that they have to get a shot off within 24 seconds of taking possesion of the ball. To make this happen they have a 24 second "shot" clock above the backboards.
What in the world does this have to do with shaving?
Well the Dallas Mavericks have some commercials running around here that utilize a 24 second shot clock. And at the end they tell you to get on Maverick's time!
The latest one was a guy sitting down to get a straight razor shave and then the shot clock starts ticking. The barber rushes through a shave as fast as he can, towels they guy off with 2 seconds to spare. I wish I could find a link to this commercial as it is hilarious to watch. The guy's eyes while he is getting scraped at speeds approaching the sound barrier are absolutely hilarious.
