Wow, this is baffling when you consider how many nice looking Aristocrats are available on any given day at eBay. The seller is calling it NOS, but you can clearly see some nicks in the center bar. I have an Aristocrat just like this (sans center bar damage) that I paid about $40-$50 for. Unbelievable!

It's been my observation you really have to know what you're doing with Aristocrats. I've seen them priced anywhere from $20 all the way to this guys $200 asking price. I'm no expert on them myself; I'm just throwing that out there.
BTW as of 1930 my time it was sold. Somebody is a proud new papa.

$18.50 if I were to buy it, postage is just another way to make money there's been a lot of times I've seen something on E-Bay and thought YES then looked at the postage and not bothered, when you consider that members here can send me a razor for $5 to the UK but some on E-bay I've seen as high as $47 to the UK when the razor has gone for $10 or $15 or less which is why I would rather buy off the nice honest members of the The Shave Den that is when they are willing to send over seas:happy102

Oh yeah, I've bee ripped off on postage & packing too...
Worst deal was Utilikilts (http://www.utilikilts.com), charged $50 "standrad international rate". The stamp said $18-ish and the packaging was a regular self sealing plastic mail envelope... That left a bitter aftertaste. But I feel a bit better every time I spread it on the internet :D
Generally, when buying in B/S/T in forums you get charged actual cost, sometimes even less! More than fair and I haven't felt ripped of ever!

Yeah, the high S&H gets on my nerves. It is nothing more than a back-door price bump.
I always include the shipping price when I bid. I refuse to be surprised. I don't mind paying $10 shipping if the bid is low enough to make it a good deal. Only problem is if they scam you, you are out the shipping.

I have the same mentality. I look at the "out-the-door" price, and set my bids accordingly.
