If any of our German-speaking members have a few minutes, I would appreciate an English translation of this article from the current issue of Foto Magazin. Including the two smaller captions.
The article has to do with the supposed upcoming announcement of two new cameras from Nikon.
One of the few German words I know is "Danke", so - Danke...very much!!

Nikon's current Highend Full Format Camera D3 is first in line on low noise and high speed designed.
Ok, that's the first sentence, and I'd continue, but the picture of the page is too blurry.

Why thank you!! I had no idea you spoke German! Hi-end is right! The body alone is $5K!!
Does this help? Still blurry, but bigger.

left caption:
The Dx3 is supposed to come in the same body as the D3 but it features a higher resolution
right caption:
The model following the D80 could feature active D-Lighting, Live-View and sensor cleaning.
Text:
The focus of Nikons latest high-end full format sensor camera D3 lies in providing low noise and high speed. The resolution of the 12MP-sensor is sufficient for most uses, but there is a market for higher resolutions, that Nikon doesn't want to leave to Canon. There have been hints on a D3x for months - for example a firmware-update for the D3 where a resolution-setting for 6048x4032 pixels (24MP) was found with an editing-software. This is the resolution of the new sensor by Sony, announced for this fall. As Nikon and Sony are working closely together as far as sensors are concerned, there is a possibility that the D3x will be using that new sensor by Sony.
We also expect a successor to Nikons oldest D-SLR, the D80. The new camera, directed at the ambitious amateur, should feature a higher-resolution CMOS sensor (supposedly 12MP just like the D300) and features known from other Nikon-SLRs, like sensor-cleaning, Live-View and active D-lighting.

In europe from the old times you always learned to speak your neighbours tongue as it is wise to do business and so you find out what the neighbours are talking behind your back .
thats why Dutch speak German perfect aswell and people from Austria aswell
and Switzerland aswell and even Poland and Czech people speak it aswell.
Kein problem , macht SpaB mit der Kamera oi oi ... teuer !

yes, Michael, but as I said many times--I speak English, but not fluently. Armand, my brother-in-law has had to help me do a lot of my posting, or I use a dictionary. Armand speaks English perfectly, although, I think perhaps now, my English is improving a little.

You do very well, my friend. My ONLY language is English. A few words or phrases in a couple of others is embarrassingly all I can do.
Oh, and for those of you who may be wondering about the "thread that wouldn't die" and the Australian reference...here ya go (http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4745&highlight=drive+home). Austria? Australia? Chappaquiddick? Or is it Sweden? :)

Here (http://www.nikonrumors.com/) for rumors and here (http://www.prnewswire.com/micro/NIKON) for press releases. If it happens soon, I will buy my son's 6 month old D80 and he will buy the D90.
