I have a Sammy Davis Jr. CD where he covers the theme from "Shaft". And, as much as I admire Sammy Davis every time I here that track I think, there is only one man that can sing that song, and that’s Isaac Hayes… period! He owned that song.

Rest in peace, Isaac, you were the man!
