@Klaus: since the 1980s or so the legal drinking age nation-wide here in the states was raised to 21.

Over here you can buy alcohol (beer, wine, nothing over 13%) when you turn 16, and once you'r 18, you're a free human being :)

Thanks everybody! I was extremely responsible and made somebody else drive during our bar crawl. I unfortunately was still intoxicated when I woke up at 830 and had to miss class this morning. All in all, a wonderful birthday! I wont even need to touch booze for a while now :D

Haha. I'll sure drink again. I just wont be drinking like that for a while. It started innocent enough with an LI iced tea and a 23oz BBC steel rail at chili's. Than over to the local brewery/eatery and had a nice big award winning honey wheat. It went down hill from there when we just wound up at the local bars and ordered pitchers.
