Went to the local drugstore after dinner to look for some of the discontinued Sir Irish Moos products - especially the shaving stick. They had none left but I did grab the last one of the deodorant sticks which I really love. I also purchased:
- Tabac AS 100ml
- Nivea creme in the blue tub for my very dry skin
- Palmolive Classic SC (EU version)

Klaus , can you get Florena where you are? It's made in Germany, and probably the most popular shaving cream here in Canada. It's also very cheap.

Jeff, I don't know. never seen it in-store, but then again, I don't often go to drugstores as around here they don't stock much of the good stuff. 500 cans of goo versus 2 tubes of shaving-cream...
Didn't see the Florena today, but I could order it online for 99 cents ($1,30) Might give it a try.

.99c? Wow, that's even cheaper than here in Canada, Klaus! Here, we pay 3.50$ CDN, which is still very reasonable, but that's what I call VERY cheap. Florena's fantastic cream, I love it. It's Canada's answer to Palmolive, I guess!

After the long wait and anticipation, it has finally arrived! My TOP Finest horn brush! First impressions: it didn't smell as bad as I thought it would; it is HEAVY; it is a VERY nice brush.

Also arrived today, my 4/8 Garantie spike point straight! It was in very good condition, and it does appear SHARP! Now I need a strop, and I'm set (to butcher my face). :D

Bought the Cuba and M7 blind as it's hard to find samples, turned out well..It's good stuff :D .

The Egoiste was a long overdue replacement bottle.

Neale, I find Cuba smells exactly like Jean-Paul Gaultier. I used to wear both of them. I like the scent, but my wife hates it. M7 is a brand that suits me well, but it's a bit strong, and I hate Egoiste, but the wife loves it! I guess, we don't always see eye to eye on fragrances, huh? :rofl

Soo true.. I have never tried the Jean-Paul Gaultier, I'll have to check it out. The M7 is pretty good, seems kind of sweet, although I didn't notice the medicinal smell others have. The Egoiste has Rose, Sandalwood and Vanilla which are among some of the scents I enjoy, I am happy to have added a reasonably priced bottle back into the rotation.

Luckily my wife seems to like them all so far, I got pretty lucky with that....;)

I Like M7 you have the EDT or the aftershave ? I have the aftershave and that one last me a long time on me so I use it as an EDT , when I splash M7 on dont need another EDT .too bad there is no M7 smell shave soaps.
