[Single Wedge]

Any one out there with some tips and tricks. My neck will thank you.

I have some str8 skills but they do not seem to transfer well.

put the head of the razor flat on your face, use no pressure at all, and let it slowly move across your face. That is the only help I can give you. My ever readys and gems are great shavers, you just have to get that technique down.

I have that part down no problems. The problem comes in with the neck. It is like trying to fit an elephant in a phone booth and about as comfortable.

Try looking up or pulling the skin slightly like you do with your straight. You should have plenty of room down there to get around.

also, if you have problems with the adams apple, someone once told me, swallow, but hold the swallow. the adams apple disappears.

The problem comes in with the neck. It is like trying to fit an elephant in a phone booth and about as comfortable.

If it's the length of the blade that is the trouble, sometimes I will hold the blade at an angle and use just enough of the edge to cut where I ned. I use the heel or the tip as necessary to fit in. The trick is being comfortable enough with the razor in-hand to manipulate the orientation.

Also try different angles of cutting (e.g., XTG angles other than 90 deg.) to cut closely and cleanly in the neck area.
