I have a beater blue tip that I gave my three year old 'cause he likes to shave with dad on Saturday morning.

His brush work needs some work and he is too scary for a feather, but he does have the angular slide down. Thank god he does not have a live blade in there.;)

Anyone else share with the kids like this. BTW I have my other blades and razors safely away from small fingers and he knows that the others are daddy's and not his.

Very cool idea. My son is a bit young still (6 weeks) but I will definitely be doing this.

I saw someone had made a miniature straight razor with wooden blade and wooden handles for their son, and would like to make one as well for my 4 year old. I let him apply my lather with the brush - he loves it. But I always kick him out before I get the razor down!

That's a neat idea :D

I don't have a son so I can't really chime in here, sorry :o

I think they sell a children's kit on the Truefitt website under gift packages.

Darn kid is already in my Velva/Bay Rum stash, used a half tube of Balea, Musgo, LaToja Shave creams and stole one of my brushes (luckily it was a VDH Boar).

And he is only 2...

He is two. My 3 year old likes my C & E BBB. Doesn't like Proraso but loves the TSD Lime.

LOL my kids are older but I can remember them watching me shave and mimic me when they took baths, they had there own shaving cream and plastic razors and they would lather up and shave always asking if they where doing it right. Thanks for the memories :D

Just kidding around, if he had better taste he would be out a better brush! ;)

I'm still a little young for children of my own, but you just brought back very fond memories of when I was little. When I used to go visit my grandparents for a few days I was always fascinated how my grandfather would go from sandpaper faced to smooth faced in the mornings. I remember watching him with his brush and mug of soap (which he still uses to this day, but with a cartridge razor) and him letting me help him apply the lather to his face. Such fond memories. I hope to do this with my kinds someday.

Side note: Even my grandfather doesn't understand my wetshaving obsession. My dad, who's had a full beard since before he met my mother, definitely doesn't understand.
