If I go to the beach, I make sure to wear sunscreen, but I'm bad about using sunscreen if I'm just outside running errands. Do you use a sunscreen or some other skin product with sunscreen mixed in? Do you put it on after you rub in an after-shave balm?

I only use sunscreen when I go outside for a longer period of time so, no, I don't use a product with sunscreen mixed in.

L'Oreal makes an ASB with SPF 15 sunscreen. It's available widely at retailers such as groceries, drugstores, and the Walmart/Targets of the world. It seems to be a solid performer as an ASB. (But I don't use it as regularly as I probably should...:ashamed001)

whenever I go to a beach, or a swimming pool, I load the sunscreen on very heavily. Yet, I tan extremely dark, and extremely fast. I apply it every 5 minutes when I sunbathe.

I use Pigmentan

I love the classy look and the herbal scent. And I love that it is a cream. So you can also use it when you have dry skin. But I don't use it every day.
Besides this there are not many sunscreens outthere I can use because of my allergic. Here are the INCIS:
Aqua, Petrolatum, Ozokerite, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Glyceriyl Isostearate, Polyglyceryl-3 Oleate, Octyl Methoxycinnamate, Adeps Lanae anhydricus, Sorbitol, Glycerine, Glycine Soja, Daucus Carota, Beta Carotene (C.I.40800), Tocopherol, Sodium Lactate, TEA-Lactate, Lactic Acid, Glycerine Serine, Urea, Allantoin, Sodium Chloride.Lauryl Diethylenediaminoglycine, Lauryl Aminopropylglycine, Alcohol Den., Butyl Methoxy-dibenzoylmethane, Tocopheryl Acetate, Magnesium Sulfate, Ethoxydiglycol, Propylene Glycol, Butylene Benzyl Benzoate, Cinnamyl Alcohol, Citral, Citronellol, Geraniol, Limonene (d- and L-Limonene), Linalool, Glycol, Aesculus Hippocastanum, Sodium Benzoate, Pottasium Sorbate, Salvia Officinalis, Hamamelis Virginiana, Parfum, Retinyl Palmitate, Methyl Paraben, BHT, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Glyceryl Stearate, Glyceryl Oleate Citric.Acid.

You can have a version with SPF30 too.

Even though there's no phenoxyethanol in it I still don't like 1/4 of the ingredients :(

I put SPF 15 all over my body, and SPF 30 on my face. The problem with me is, I don't tan golden like my wife does. A tan on me looks hideous. My wife says when we are in a dimly-lit restaurant, or if we drive at night, all she can see are my eyes and teeth. I remember one time when I went with a friend of mine to Martinique, and when my dad and mom came to pick us up at the airport when we were coming back home, mom told me she literally could not recognize me! Mom too, used to get very, very dark before she gave up the sun. Dad never cared for sunbathing. Me, I'm a sun-freak!

I'm looking for light, normal lotion sort of thing that happens to be at least SPF 15 to put on my bald head every day. I'm hoping for something not as heavy as normal sunscreen and something that doesn't smell like sunscreen. Anyone have any ideas?

I really enjoy using Zirh facial moisturizer. It has SPF 10 or 15 in it and its a great daily moisturizer/skin protector. If you have a sephora near you, go over and check it out. Grab a sample.

My wife buys me Lancaster, or Biotherm. Both are very effective.

I use Zirh "Defend" daily on my face and shaved head. If I'm on the boat, I use Bullfrog "Surfer" SPF 36. Both work well, the Bullfrog is the only one I've tried that doesn't wash off quickly in salt water.

Also a plug for Kiehls facial fuel. SPF 15 and a touch of menthol. I love the stuff.

A lot of sunscreens break me out. This one doesn't; Neutrogena Body Mist Sunblock with helioplex.

I use Mary Kay sunscreen with SPF 30. It's recommended by the Skin Cancer Research Foundation. I use it during rounds of golf and when I worked at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on racedays and I had no problem whatsoever.

I use a Neutrogena 15spf in it. It also has a self-tanner in it.
I use a little bit everyday and it helps me keep a little tan
through the grey Northwest days.

My wife buys me Lancaster, or Biotherm. Both are very effective.

Jeff is a very swarthy-skinned man, with pitch-black hair and eyes, who seems to get the darkest tan of anybody I know, except my parents, and one of my sisters. Jeff uses these 2 sunscreens very regularly when he goes to a beach or pool, but to see his color after being in the sun, you'd never believe he used anything. I'm quite dark myself, but not like Jeff, and I use these brands, and they work well.

I was down in America at Target and picked up some Everyman Jack after shave balm(?) with SPF15. Good stuff, and scent free and paraben free
