I am going to start this off with a preface. I am a pretty big movie guy. I own maybe.. a couple hundred DVDs/Blu-Rays easy and I will drop 100 dollars on a REALLY good Japanese Film from the 50's if it is released by Criterion. However it takes a VERY special movie to get me to actually go to the theatre to see one. Well folks.. as you can tell from the title.. one of those movies has come along.

Now I haven't seen it yet but I will be in the next couple of days. As soon as I saw the preview and saw WALL-E I KNEW I had to see it because it will be something special. Pixar are very talented guys so it has that going for it right off the bat. I don't know much about the movie, but so far the reviews have been through the roof good. Now I know that doesn't always mean much but hey, it is there if you are a review freak.

So who is going to see this movie? Anyone seen it yet? Time to talk!

Here is a picture of WALL-E to tempt those who may not have an idea of what I am talking about.

I heard it described as the greatest science fiction movie this decade.... hidden in a cartoon.

Sounds good to me.

He reminds me of Johnny 5 from another movie. I can't remember the name but it had Steve Gutenberg in it and was done sometime in the 80's, I believe.

It'll be October when its gonna be released here in Austria. Dunno, might attend a press-screening if I feel like it, animated movies aren't really amongst my preferred genres.

There is a movie theatre right down the block like.. 30 seconds away. I am going to go see if I can grab tickets for tonight's midnight showing.

I think we're going this afternoon. I love Pixar stuff anyway, since I'm just a kid at heart.

Well I have seen it, and I cannot recommend it enough. Easily one of my favourite movies just on the first viewing. It is funny, cute and touching and just overall amazing.

I've heard great things about this movie. I will definitely need to check it out. It seems like it would be a great date movie.
