Shoutbox and PM's

I was wondering if there is a type of command that you can type pm's in the regular shoutbox. I know you can see the pm conversation from the general shoutbox...but you cant see the general shoutbox from the pm.

DOing something like /name of person.... then type the message would be good...

Not sure i understand fully. You're looking to send a standard pm from within the shoutbox, correct?

If so, that can't be done, although you can have a private conversation with someone from within the shoutbox if you so desire.

If a private conversation gets started in the shoutbox, between you and someone else, that is all you'll see in the shoutbox, the private conversation. You can't see the general conversation at the same time.

I believe that is what Isaac is referring to.

If this is the case, you can't view both at the same time (maybe in the future), but you can alternate back and forth without closing the windows. Just click on the word shoutbox, and the name of the person you are in a pm window with (both at the top)

basically what joanna said. I was just trying to think of a way to speed things up rather than switching tabs in the shoutbox. Lets say..im in the general shoutbox and im talking to neale...i could go like /padron to start or continue an actual PM...thereby still reading general and talking in the PM rather than switching back and forth.

Well..if you talked in the shoutbox you would know....

In the general menu....you can read both general chat and the PM chat...but you cant type a PM message. In order to type a PM you have to click on a persons name...and it opens a PM window...that you can type in...but you can not type or see the general shoutbox.
