Newby saying hello

Hello,

Just joined and wanted to stop in and say hello. I'm new to DE shaving and I am in my 3rd week of shaving. I found 2 old Gillette razors at my local antique shop about 4 weeks ago - I snagged them both and haven't looked back. I think I'm ready to throw my mach3 away.

I have a sample of different blades coming my way. Right now, I'm using generic kmart blades with my Van der Hagen glycerin soap and brush. To date, I've shaved 5 times with only minor cuts and zero irritation.

So, that's it for me. Now I'm off to explore this forum!
