I kind of accidentally won this on ebay the other day because I was not expecting them to accept my offer... Made in Argentina. Something a little different. I will post some more pictures when it arrives. :D

Rodd...

GREAT stuff for sure!

But those blades--with a name like FRAPPE...
I dunno if I'd want to "FRAPPE my face!!!" :happy102

Thanks for sharing...

the blades are marked solingen, which is where merkurs are made. I really want a set of argentinian blue blades now. That is the only thing missing from the set. I saw some in a set on the bay, but I was not going to buy a $40 set to get some blades...

The blade must've been made sometime from 1932 on - I can't find the brand / trade mark in a 1932 register of blades from Solingen.

Can I ask why 1932? I would love to know more about them.

Here is a picture of the blades I need for the set. I believe the razor with them is made in England, from what I can tell, most of the razors sold in Argentina are made in England or US.
