Results- Decent shave. I think I've found the right razor for me. Nicked myself a couple times when I got sloppy with the technique. I still don't like Sharp blades- but this time my face doesn't look like I rubbed it with a brillo pad.

a wonderful, and super-cooling shave this morning. This Gada stuff may be cheap, but it's excellent--the cooling effect is about the same as Proraso Green, but the scent and skincare are much better. The Vifrex a/shave gel also gives a great cooling and soothing feeling. ;) :D

The consistency of the s/c is very reminiscent of Castle Forbes. From J. Peterman about the shave cream.

"Rich, thick lather (extremely concentrated—try to control yourself.) Outstanding when used with brush."



I like the scent very much as well. From J. Peterman:

An “old woody fougère.” Clean citrus notes, bergamot, "green notes." The middle notes: clary sage…cardamom. The dry-down: leather notes, smoky labdanum…elemi, tabac, frankincense.
