Result: Much better. 4.5/5.0 even though I had a tiny weeper open up from yesterday's shave. I can't fault this shave for that. I'm using the TGQ small pucks like a shave stick. Wet the puck for a while then wet the face and apply the soap directly to the face. Follow up with a great face lathering.

it's supposed to warm up to around 70-72F here today, so I decided to get as mentholated as possible. This Egyptian Palmolive cream gives so much lather, and is freezing cold, and has wonderful, soothing skincare, but I don't find the scent so great. Otherwise, a great shave today! ;) :D

The sample of the AS from Joanna smells very-very nice. There was no noticeable burning sensation when I applied it, by the time I was done cleaning the sink area it had absorbed, there was no sticky feeling on my face, the scent didn't linger and my face is smooth with no redness. I plan on using this the next few days.

Result: 3.5/5.0 Right side chin nick and a clogged pore that might be a slight ingrown bump. We'll see. Flubbed the angle on crossing over to the right from the left trying to knock down a patch before moving on to the DE. The soap was fading a bit by this time. I'll have to try this soap with a smaller brush. The Omega might have been too much for it.

Result: 4.5/5.0 Back on track but it was a quick shave with the slant. I was short on time. Trust the slant to mow down whiskers in a hurry though. I had to work around a clogged pore/slight ingrown but I think I got to it in time and it will clear up quick. No nicks or weepers.

I enjoy this latest version of Proraso soap, because it smells great, it has much better lather and skincare than the green bowl counterpart. It's not quite as cooling as the green one, but still cool enough, and the Diana balm really puts the finishing touch on a shave! ;) :D

The result:

An excellent, smooth shave with the added luxury of being outside. Can you beat that?
Next time I won't do it in the direct sunlight, though. It irritates/burns my sensitive skin a bit while shaving, the lather dies out and the visibility is not that good with all these reflecting walls around.

Best one yet! Still takes me forever, but very little irritation...or blood. Stretching and left-handed shaving is a challenge as is the neck and upper lip. Still need an alternate device to finish with (but less each day). All in all, I'm pleased.

@Jeff: It's pretty easy to stretch your skin, you just pull it in whichever direction you want. Nah, just kidding, sorry to hear you can't do it - it really makes shaving much easier and is essential for shaving with a straight.

oyyyyyyy, Klaus, if you knew how much pain I get if I try to pull my skin taut when I shave....it feels like I'll tear the tissues of my face and neck. 2 top neurologists here in Montreal were left completely shocked after blood tests, x-rays, and a very long examination showed absolutely NOTHING.
