The ironwork was dirt cheap on eBay, even with the shipping. There is a blacksmith in a small town near my house who wanted crazy $$ for a similar setup - almost twice was I paid for this. I am not against paying for craftsmanship but what he had offered was not nearly as nice as what i ended up finding.

I hung it the other way because I thought the weight of the bar loaded may pull away from the wall. If I lived just a tad bit closer to you, I would most certainly lend a hand!
