What has New York come to? He must have been on a manhatten-only train. Put him on a train that goes to any other burgough and somebody would have kicked his )(*&)*& and stolen that movado watch, and well...probably his shoes.

Haahaa. I wont lie, I had riding any train that goes past the UES. Scary people on those inter-burough trains.

I used to ride in Queens a lot. Used to take the Q10 bus to JFK through Jamacia. Actaully passed a burning car once... I've been nervous a couple of times, but never had any problems.

I remember they used to warn you to not get off at Jamaica station. Odd.... supposedly it's not safe for to leave the train, but anyone that's wants to be a "problem" can get ON the train.

In New York there's people panhandling that don't look like they need the money. They go to great lengths to harass you.... and it doesn't matter if you give them money or not. My last trip I had just purchased a new car. I parked it in a nice neighborhood outside of a starbucks, and there's this guy standing on the sidewalk with a mallet. He looks at me and says, "For $5 i'll be sure no thug messes with your car."
