OK....I would regard myself as ....a fairly experieced wet shaver......BUT...I have a question. What is better. I am currently using a Futur on my rotation this week. I normally use 3.5 for 3 passes....but I have been upping to 4. What is better 3.5 with 4 passes .....or a more agressive exposure with fewer
passes?

I think that as long as you have self-control with the pressure aspect, your best keeping to more blade exposure, less passes. This seems to work well with me, and one of the reasons I enjoy the Slant.

What Joe said.......More blade = More exposure = Less passes

Still confused Rick.

Would that not make the head on a slant too loose to shave with?

Dial 9?? That's for wusses

I just take the blade out and hold it in my hand... Sure a straight would make that easier to do, but then where's the challenge?

Took the advice....and open the Futur up another notch. I was just being lazy.....I had reached a point where I had been getting good shaves, and just didn't want to risk blood loss. The new setting gave an BBS shave,,,with no blood loss or burn. Problem is...I am asking myself...just how much further I can go!!

Thanks Guys

Congrats!

I say keep going until it doesn't work anymore, then just dial it back down to the highest place it worked... even if you get razor burn, etc... it will heal and you'll know the best place to be at ::
