I'm still new to this so bear with me. I have bought every thing I need to start. But in the middle of moving I haven't had time to start. So tonight was my first time trying to make a shaving foam (is that the word?). First I tried the Proraso and it came along after a couple tries. Then I tried the C&E Sandlewood. It whipped up immediately.

So my question is are all creams the same or are some easier to whip up?

Nope, all creams are not created equal.

Cream recipes differ, ingredients, quantities of different ingredients differ.

here are people smarter than me saying what they know about ingredients:
Soap Ingredients/Defintions (http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=4639&highlight=potassium)

and here is me trying to get even more info from them:
Ingredients Info (http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5024)

and here is a list of ingredients lists at a ahem different forum:
Ingredients Lists (http://www.shavemyface.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14631)

That ought to keep you busy for a while

They're all very different. To make things even more confusing, what works best for me, may not be best for you. I always feel awkward recommending something our store sells, but if you're curious about other creams, give one of our sampler kits a try. We've got a pretty big increase in the choices on the way too. Might save you from paying full price on one, and then not liking it.
