A wonderful shave! The TSD Bamboo & Teak is a genuinely fresh scent! I caught myself sniffing the brush between passes! That scent would make a great AS togehter with some menthol! The Heljestrand is now honed to HHT status and cut the whiskers like butter! The wonderful sound of a hollow ground shearing, reaping the beard! I'm very glad I detoured down the road of straight razors! And I'm happy to have found such a wealth of information and helpfulness (and kindness, not to say the least!) as I've found here!

I'm getting quite nice shaves on a regular basis with the straight now, nice! The TSD Blueberry is just awesome! I had to stop myself from actually eating the lather! The rich creamy lather we all love from the TSD soaps with a savoury blueberry scent, a calming and pleasant experience!

Takes me back to my childhood. My parents owned a house, that was a block away from a public blueberry field. Something like 5 acres of blueberries. All the free blueberries you wanted. Our freezer was always full of blueberries. I've never had blueberries as good as those ones. I visited my family last year, and those blueberries did not disappoint.

I have the 91R, which is for me anyway, a shaver's dream, and of course, 2 versions of the 22R, which I think are fantastic.
I have the 22r but am NOT impressed at all. Very thin material, easy to bend, the blade is twisted at all four corners. For 5$ this would be an OKAY razor, but for ~20... no way I'll buy one like that again.

Yikes. Tried out the Derby Samurai 3 cartridge razor and blade. $3.99 for a handle and 5-pack of blades. First shave == not good. At all. I did manage to achieve a BBS shave, but my neck is on fire worse than it's been in a long time. Going to give it a few more attempts and try another cartridge or two to give it a fair run... but initial impressions are not positive. Still... hope remains. I figured since Derby DE blades are so great (my favorite DE blade) then maybe those same blade designs are used in the cartridge versions? We shall see.

yes I like its agressive aswell. out of the 3 modells the best shaver sofar is the 89R followed closely by the 91R they might be equal its just I shaved more with the 89R then the 91R. currently 91R is all I use. I like the longer handles and the increased weight. my Gillette Aristocrat silver is retired for the moment.:eek:

The 71R is great, I like the weight, the handle, everything. But, still, the build-quality lacks. The screw thread wasn't drilled exactly in the center, the head is not of the same quality as the Merkurs are. For the ~13€ I paid it's a good, rock-solid razor, but it's not worth much more, IMHO.
Parker really has to work on their QA...

The 22R V1 i'd say I agree not with V2 which is a better improvement the only thing I dont like so much with V2 is the head design the handle is a cool gun metal. I have a feeling you have a V1.

The 22R V1 i'd say I agree not with V2 which is a better improvement the only thing I dont like so much with V2 is the head design the handle is a cool gun metal. I have a feeling you have a V1.

Your comments help alot just so you know ! the 71R wouldnt have been the way it is unless you commented on it. so this will be taken dead serious .

Ah, well, Rene, I guess with the Parkers it's you get what you pay for. For 13€ you can't expect the build-quality of a Merkur, which still are and will be my new razors of choice.
But it's good to know that the input will be taken seriously :)

Try something else Boubi, I have been experimenting with the Anherb Conditioner a bit , whenever I slap on the A/S I wait about 20 seconds then grab the Anherb and pour out about 1/2 a tea spoon and rub it on the face while its still drying up with the A/S you will notice an improvement of your skin been doing that for 2 weeks in a row now. but this is only for diehards because its so COLD when the anherb interacts with the A/S . and I wish you would use your Kent BK8 more often.
