I think Corn Huskers would be a good carrier for some Essential Oils...AND WHAT ELSE????
For a fine aftershave Balm..
Anyone use it or make an AS balm?
I thought sure we had a concoction forum ....

Its an integral part of my AS / ASB line of goodies :D
I like Melaleuca (TeaTree) oil with the mix.
It has so many beneficial qualities and totally masks any unpleasant scent from the CHL

YMMV, as the saying goes, but how can one nasty scent mask another?

That's exactly what I wanted to ask, too.

Actually, that mix only contains one "stinky" scent.
Besides, the Bay Rum hid the stench very well, IMO. :D

I use Corn Huskers mixed with essential oil (currently lavender). This stuff is just like poor man's GFT Skin Food.

I don't like Cornhuskers, GFT Skin Food, Sharps blades and Superspeeds. Oh, and AV ain't so hot either. I feel sure that that must be a FAR longer list than anyone else has.

A lot of folks will tell ya the reason they dont care for CHL is the smell, and thats OK cause Im not crazy about it either.
But heres the thing:
It works great and if you add ANYTHING with a scent to it, the original odor is G.O.N.E. gone !
Ive posted it a thousand times but Ill do it again......use this as a base for your mixes and see how good it can be: CHL + Aloe Gel + Witch Hazel
Start with a 1:1:1 ratio and add WH until you get the consistency you want.
Disclaimer: not an original recipe ;)

But why bother? I can buy stuff that smells just fine and don't have to wear a lab coat. Besides...I rarely use ASB anyway! :happy097
