Perhaps this should have been put in the review section but i don't have a picture to attached.
Just yesterday i received my OO from Issy and was excited to try it out. Here's my inputs/review.
I've tried several soaps from all around the world and I'm sure that most of you gents/ladies have tried several yourself, i.e. everything from Italy, France etc etc. Most of these soaps for my skin-type (sensitive-combo-fair complexion) have eventually dried my skin. All of them have included Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and other Oil's as well and have failed (at least in the moisturzing category). I won't mention names of these brands because what might NOT work for me MIGHT work for others.
Size: Awesome size should last a good length of time, 6oz bar
Color: Simple looks just like Olive Oil
Scent: None, although I do get a hint of the Olive Oil scent (clean)
Sudz: Extremely low sudzing. I believe Issy mentions this.
Texture: Very slick.
cleanse: Does the job perfect and leaves no residue or oiliness just suppleness
Moisturize: I love it. I believe i have found my "signature" soap. Considering the winter months over here this soap moisturized my skin just perfect. However just out of habit i still use a aftershave balm just for added benefits. this might not be necessary from some considering the soap is very moisturzing and perhaps when summer time comes around I will do away with the aftershave balm.
Overall I'm very pleased. I also used this in my hair (fine-hair) and left it managable (not flat) no static and added just the right moisture. For several years i've been looking for an "all over body" wash that gets the job complete and at a resonable price. Unfortunately it only took 30 years to find.. Now I've found it. Thank you Issy and a job well done.
PS. Just incase anyone is wondering NO I do not work for Issy..
