For dinner, I picked up an excellent hand-carved pastrami sandwich from Tommy's Joynt (http://www.tommysjoynt.com/index.htm), and am now enjoying a bit of Bulleit bourbon with ice and an H. Upmann robusto. I'm really settling into the single life...

Tommys is a great place to stop. When I lived in San Francisco I went there all the time. Great food and lots of beer choices.
Last night I enjoyed a REO robusto. If you like the Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 and 1992 then you should like this cigar.

Last night I had a wonderful Rocky Patel Old World Reserve Churchill. My last one from the first batch Rocky personally brought with him to Austin when I met him last fall. Hopefully the new release ones are just as good. This is the only RP cigar I've really enjoyed, haven't been a big fan of the Vintages and the Edge doesn't do anything for me at all.
If I ever become an alcoholic, let it be known that I will choose French wine, Japanese umeshu or POLISH Żubrówka.
I raise my glass to John III Sobieski, Maria Curie-Skłodowska, Frédéric Chopin and Henryk Mikołaj Górecki.

Tried a recipe for Pizza lasagna tonight, still waiting for it to set after coming out of the oven. Will try it shortly but it looks REALLY good.

I was treated to a lovely birthday dinner; prime rib (med rare), baked potato, and dinner salad at a great local restaurant. All wonderful!
Dessert; Dark chocolate! ;)
Thanks so much Bobby!

Hmmm...I'm not a big veggie fan, but my daughter would LOVE it! If I could just come up with an alternative to the broccoli....
