That's right, it's Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birthday!

Rock me Amadeus! Born 27 January 1756

Will you celebrate, or at least give a listen to his music?

Let's party!!!::

Yes, I did celebrate

We had champagne and crackers with cream cheese and crab meat. This was followed with a scrumptious chicken salad (tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, tender breast of chicken, and blue cheese dressing) and a bottle of Merlot.

But! what would a birthday celebration be without the music?

A recording from the 1950's; Dennis Brain and the Philharmonia Orchestra, conducted by Herbert Von Karajan: Mozart's Horn Concertos numbers 1 through 4. It's a mono recording and it sounds heavenly.

Mozart is one of the few composers that can bring me to such heights of emotion.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOZART!

To Johannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart

When I was in Austria The museum of Mozart was closed for a rebuilding or for the holidays time I cant remember 100% anymore , ofcourse I was disspointed very much I was staying in Vienna and how can one not go see the Mozart Museum.

In my 6 years of piano studying I havent actually played any Mozart yet, what better time to start playing a piece of his then today. :1respect

Or maybe watch the movie "Amadeus". I think I might just do that today :)

Where would a lot of today's music be if Amadeus was not ever?
Who would have filled the void of creating such music?

Happy Birthday sir!
