I thought Coconut Oil was drying.
Doesn't seem like it would be a good thing for your hair.

You can never go wrong with beer! I just made a soap with beer and olive oil, lovely hair conditioning! I use it for shampoo as well!

Its noy drying at all, only when too much is used in soap (it needs to be balanced with other oils for that......well even in soap if you superfat at 15% its not drying even at 100%). People in the islands have been using it for skin and hair for thousands of yrs.

ohhhhhh, geez....!
OK.
Let me clarify a bit....if I may.
I am looking to create a Leave-in -conditioner -type hair tonic.
I need a good carrier oil for the Florida Water and glycerin that I am going to add to it.
Today I mixed up a batch using Vitamin E oil and it didnt turn out half bad.
Ive seen good things about Jojoba and Avocado oils as well.
Which oils are good for the hair?
