Can anyone tell me where I can get a sample of the Brooks Brothers cologne?

Thanks

Its a good cologne, works best with dress-clothes.

Step into any Brooks Brothers Brick-&-Mortar and you can coat yourself in it ;)

Kurt, you can not get a sample. The only thing you can do is to walk into one oftheir stores and try it in the store. They will not give you a sample to try at home.

Good point I hear great things about this cologne for everyday use.

As for it being a good every day cologne I really can't tell you. I was having problems when I tried it the last time. I would put on a sample and walk back to work. After three hours I would nto be able to smell anything and I assumed that I could not maintain a scent. A few months later when I was trying Combe Acqua Velva Musk a woman in my office told me, six hours later, that she liked the scent. It's not that I can't maintain a scent its jsut that I do not smell it myself but others can quite clearly. I will need to go try this once more.

I was at my neighborhood dollar store a few weeks ago and picked up a knock off of Polo Blue and tried that for a while. Others liked that quite a lot and it smells almost identical to Brooks Brother's scent. So try a dollar store brand and see if it works. I am still experimenting with different colognes and after shaves to see what works the best for me but the dollar store brand did very well on me.

Somehow, I can't see myself going to a dollar store to buy a Brooks Bros. "smell-alike". A supposed smell-alike anyway.

If ya can't afford the real thing, that's fine...then just don't BUY it. I don't. But I will not go to a dollar store in an attempt to fool anyone (most especially myself) into thinking I'm wearing Brooks Bros - or Penhaligon's, or Floris, or whatever.

And I'm certainly not going to buy the dollar version of Polo Blue and try to pass it off as BB!

But, maybe that's just me.
