Obviously the only true was to show devotion would be a full body shave. Now that would be impressive.

Blessings, thoughts, and prayers . . .
but I'm not even shaving my face at the moment, and I can just imagine the mess I'd make out of trying to shave my legs--they don't make alum blocks that big!:rofl

Ok, so report time.
I'm doing good.
No vision distortions this time. No swelling. I did have the hugest headache ever about 2-3 hours after the procedure. Took a handful of advil, if I had to guess I'd estimate 20 but I didn't count them, and took a nap. When I woke up, I took off my eye patch and could see perfectly normal.
Anyway, the doctor said one more time on the right eye and I should be good. That will make 2x on each eye that I've had this procedure done. Not fun, and I don't recommend it to anyone. :o

That's really good news, JoAnna! I'm very glad to hear it went so well. All that Bay Rum I used this morning must've helped!! :)
But...20 Advil??!!!! Wow!! Next time, maybe I'll DRINK the Bay Rum! :D

My head has never hurt so bad. :( I just wanted to take the advil and climb in bed. I wasn't about to count the pills. Opened the bottle, poured some in my hand, thought for a nanosecond about pouring some back into the bottle, but said, "ehh, whatever".
I use to take a lot of advil everyday, because of pain. They never bothered me. I don't take advil, or any other OTC pain relievers, much anymore. So, I don't worry about it.
And of course, if these had been prescription drugs, I would have only taken the prescribed dosage.
just got to shave and normally on Fridays ....I DON'T ;)
