Roses are sometimes pink, sometimes yellow and sometimes red,
I've even seen 'em in shades of black, but you'll never see 'em purple,
Because if I ain't mistaken, it was our friend Barney who said,
Cartoons, movies and shaving creams have reserved the color purple!

OK. A clean version.
There once was a man from Nantucket,
whose brush was so bushy he deplored it.
The soap slipped around and always fell on the ground,
so he stopped using pucks and he poured it.
Off to bed for me. The baby and wife are asleep and writing limericks late into the evening won't be a legitimate excuse for sleeping in tomorrow :(

*slightly edited*
'Twas the night before morning, and all through the house
the creatures were stirring, yes, even the mouse,
I was surfing the web in my moments to spare,
Oh the great Shave Den was a stop, here and there.
Reading "New Posts" and refreshing the site,
Oh the addiction... I'll be alright.
I have an HD, and I have some blades too,
I'm happy to throw out, my big can of goo.
I see some posts, discussing the slant,
Do I get a new razor? No reason I can't!
So I order a slant, and a blade sample pack,
The Gillette Mach3? Never going back!
Oh what a place, the people all grand,
And always willing to lend you a hand.
Wait, what's this? Secret Santa you say?
A forum this great, I'm certain to stay!
I could go on with the all the great's there,
But I'd rather not, be pulling my hair,
For doing that, would take all my time,
And then there's the fact that I'd run out of rhyme.
Nancy Boy, Trumper, and Mama Bear
Truefitt and Taylor, everything's there.
Crabtree and Simspon, Omega's quite plush,
But don't forget, you'll need a brush!
I near the end of this story for now,
But the fun just begins, oh and how.
My gift it did come, wrapped up with care,
A cream and a soap, and shampoo for my hair.
A batch of Beau Brummel made just for me,
She wanted all three to be matching you see.
So thanks Mama Bear for the gifts you did send.
The journey begins, although this poem must end.

Received my "Mystery Soap" today! As soon as I opened the mailbox I tore open that package and screwed the lid off that tub....this scent was no mystery to this old boy....I immediately recognized it was the scent I'd always wanted....."Biscuits & Gravy!" Memories, memories, memories.....it smelled just like mama used to make!
Of course, I'm only kidding! But, hey, who knows....it might go over, especially down here in east Tennnessee.
The tub is full of a beautiful orange soap [the color of the Tennessee Volunteer's Big Orange Army], oh yeah!!! Better 'n the color is the scent. However, I must truthfully admit that this scent really is a mystery to me. It is an overall light [which I prefer] scent with a sexy, clean, musky smell to it. I think I shall try some on in the next couple of days. I just may be too sexy for my whiskers with this one! Very interesting!!!
A big thanks to Mama Bear for a great soap. :D

Oh, Lord - a Rocky Top fan! Spare me, please! :D But seriously, I can't ID the soap either, but it smells GREAT and lathers at least as well. BK8, no less. Who says you can't use a Kent with soap?! I'd already shaved today, but that didn't mean I couldn't make some lather!! :p

It's not nice to tease a Rocky Top fan!
Wish that I was on ol' Rocky Top
Down in the Tennessee hills
Aint' no smoggy smoke on Rocky Top
Ain't no telephone bills
Once I had a girl on Rocky Top
Half bear, other half cat
Wild as a mink,
but sweet as soda pop
I still dream about that.
Rocky Top you'll always be
Home sweet home to me
Good ol' Rocky Top
Rocky Top Tennessee,
Rocky Top Tennessee
Once two strangers climbed ol' Rocky Top
Lookin' for a moonshine still
Strangers ain't come down from Rocky Top
Reckon they never will
Rocky Top you'll always be
Home sweet home to me
Good ol' Rocky Top
Rocky Top Tennessee,
Rocky Top Tennessee
Corn won't grow at all on Rocky Top
Dirt's too rocky by far
That's why all the folks on Rocky Top
Get their corn from a jar
Rocky Top you'll always be
Home sweet home to me
Good ol' Rocky Top
Rocky Top Tennessee,
Rocky Top Tennessee
I've had years of cramped-up city life
Trapped like a duck in a pen
All I know is it's a pity life
Can't be simple again
Rocky Top you'll always be
Home sweet home to me
Good ol' Rocky Top
Rocky Top Tennessee,
Rocky Top Tennessee

I remember that song... My parents made me go to a Catholic middle school, the music teacher had us sing that song for some parents night or something. Only thing was they wouldn't let us sing the entire song, something about being afraid of endorsing moonshine and all. :D
