I recently ordered (and received) some Aqua Velva Musk from NationwideCampus.com and now I’m apparently on their little customer news e-mail list. The reason I’m sharing this useless information with everyone is because they informed me today via e-mail that Colgate has discontinued their complete line of shaving creams. That includes: Arctic Cool, Aloe, Regular and Sensitive. I realize that the loss of a line of canned foam is no big deal to most everyone in the Shave Den, but I thought it was interesting since it first started with their mug soap being discontinued, then the Palmolive cream, and now this. It's like shaving history disappearing before our eyes.

Before I started using a brush and soap, the Colgate regular canned foam was my go-to shaving cream, and still is when I have to travel. Oh well, another one bites the dust!

Now, if they'd also discontinue that Wilkonson, Gillette etc. goo, we'd be in for a wetshaving re-revolution :D

It's a start :D

Guys, you have a great point there. Yet, through my whole life, in the 6 times I used canned Dreck, Colgate Aloe seemed not so terrible. Barbasol was what gave my skin a beating.
