Id have to agree with Sparky on this one the forum is mainly focused on shaving the gaming is a side thing. it cleaned up the Forum nicely .

Agreed. The Arcade is a nice distraction but it's not what we are here for. I came for the Food & Beer! :D

I believe he had to get rid of it, because of the page load/screen layout problem some people were experiencing due to the scrolling championship titles.

Every time you get a high score, the banner included a picture of that game. With 1000+ games in our arcade, that could mean 1000+ images to load on every page of the forum. All those images loading slowed down the forum. With many of our members being quite a distance from the server, it was getting to be too much.

When there were 10 games, you just didn't notice.

It really does make sense and it is a good call. Plus you would NEVER see all of the high scores certain people have piled up!
