Hello Gents & Ladies,
I just wanted to take a moment to tell you about a wonderful cologne / lotion I came across called Royall Muske made by the Royall Lyme Company of Bermuda. I got a small sample of this heavenly scent from a member at B&B, and let me tell you, it was love at first smell!
Let me first describe the well made bottle, the 8oz bottle comes in a splash only and is topped with a METAL cap in the shape of a crown and has limes across all sides. The bottle itself has that Old-world charm of colognes of yesteryear, and is stamped with the company name on the bottom. The contents are measured perfectly and are as stated on the contents menu.
This scent is touted as being made with the grain of the musk deer, and to my nose it smells just like Penhaligon's Racquets on dry-down. Don't get me wrong, I love Pen's Racquets, but on me Royall Muske lasts longer than Pen's offering and costs less that 1/4 as much at around $30 for 8ozs!
Royall Lyme Company has a great website Here (http://www.royalllymebermuda.com/), but they also have an agent that sells direct on Ebay that can be found Here (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZbermuda150).
Of all the colognes I have tried I must say that, at the moment, my favorite is Royall Muske. I have received loads of compliments with it on, and it gives me more self-confidence knowing that not only do I look well-groomed, but I smell well-groomed as well.
Of the Royall Lymes colognes I have tried Spyce, which is a clovey spice type scent. Bay Rhum, which is a lil different that your normal Bay Rum scent in that it doesn't have as much clove but lasts all day, and is very masculine. Lymes, which is very citrusy with a warm dry-down and woodsy base notes. And also Mandarin, which is also very citrusy, but in an orange way with a touch of Amber, and clove and a hint of cedar at dry-down.
Royall Lymes Company has gotten my attention and hopefully you will give them a try as well. These colognes / lotions are of FINE quality and are meant for everyday wear or even for wear to an exclusive black-tie affair. On me they last about 8 hours with a modest application, and smell heavenly all day or evening long.
Try them, you'll like them for sure!
