Here's a razor that I really liked... except the scales were shot. I removed the old scales and made new ones from a piece of Carob. I was able to reuse the old spacer and re-pin the razor. Finish is CA. Re-honed and stropped it. Just took it for a test drive and it handles very nicely. Here's some pics:

That razor definitely deserved a new set of scales. Are the pin collars re-used too?

Pins and collars are new. The old ones were trashed.
