Personally I'm just enjoying a nice glass of Portugese red and will soon walk the dogs and smoke a pipe of a mild Black Cavendish mixture ("Brobergs Jubileum", a Swedish Tobacconists anniversary blend), my favourite!

My Kent finally came from London, courtesy of my sister. She said it might be a little late, but it was in today's mail! Not a bad "Boxing Day" present! BK 4, baby! This last pic shows it near its new home in the brush rack (hand made by denmason) that was my Secret Santa gift!

Emily has more, I'm sure. Actually, I'm considering trading it for something else. Other than the socket length, it seems to be VERY much like my T2. I like my T2, but i really don't want TWO of them! Any suggestions are more than welcome!

Received today, from Vanessa. Four Kent soaps (MWF), BLK2 and BLK4. Test lathered the 2 (in front), hence the bloom. Haven't shaved with it, but it makes gobs of good lather with the Kent soap. The grey badger feels a lot like the silvertip, but the tips are a bit scratchy - minor, but noticeable. Can't see it here, but the bloom on the 2 is considerably smaller than on the 4.

As a matter of fact, mine's going back to Em's Place. When I got it, I thought it looked a great deal like the Tulip 2 I recently bought. Knot is almost the same size and so's the loft (Emily's size chart says the PJ2 has a 5mm larger loft...mine is virtually identical, though the T2 has been used while the PJ has not). I'm guessing that, except for the handle shape, this is going to feel and perform a lot like the T2. I love my T2, but I really don't want two of them.

I asked a couple of the more well-respected folks around here for their opinions - before I actually got the thing wet. It sounds like the chances of it being really close to the same brush, performance-wise, are quite good. So, I'm gonna pick another. Chubby 1 or 2, Duke 3, Emperor 2 maybe? Haven't decided.

Anyway, if anyone has been drooling over the T2, but doesn't want to spend the $170 or so, sounds like you might want to consider the PJ2 Best for "only" $115.

Stopped at a local dollar store and picked up so me spray bottles, $.20 each for my colognes and a bottle of spray cologne for $1. So far the cologne works great, one of my favorites. It's a knock off of Polo Blue for men.

Man, some of those knock-offs can be hit-or-miss, but if you found one that works for you, good on ya!
