I guess I need to come clean:
Pretty much done cleared out all my glycerine-based soaps.
Ive either made my SCreams outta them or traded them away.
I'm all about hard soaps right now......like the shave stick is.
The tubs are kinda like a putty, am I right ?

Well, they don't come in tubs. Valobra comes in wax paper, in a box. I put mine in a tub. But yes, it is kinda like putty. It's a soft soap.

Those are all excellent, I only have the Valobra Menthol soft soap....not the hard stick.....I do have the rest of the soaps though....

I had to vote for the Institut Karite :D:D, I believe it is currently my favorite that I have tried :)

I have only tried the PdP but I sold it after using it for awhile. I thought the scent was just alright (very soapy), and the shave was decent. I didn't like how it seemed to muck up my razor. A lot of soap residue was left on my HD but hey thats not that big of a deal. Out of the other choices I would probably choose the Valobra b/c I am thinking about trying that one in the future.

I've tried all of these. They are all very good but the IK is my current favorite soap. PdP being next on your list - it has a terrific scent but the shave is not QUITE up to IK. IK just rocks!

My vote is for the Valobra shaving stick. However, I've heard rumors that AOS soaps are made by valobra and are very very close in formula to the Valobra shave stick. So if you want the benefit of valobra, but with a different scent, AOS might be the ticket.

I guess I have to add another vote for Valobra. The stick is not as good value as the soft-soap but it works better in my opinion.

JoAnna was kind enough to gift me some of the Valobra soft (almond) soap but
I am still anxious to try the Shave stick.
Need to trade off some goods 1st :o

Anybuddy got an extra stick they want to trade ??
