I want to take a moment tosay hello to everyone and announce our Christmas sale for TGQ.

Updates to the site are happening each and every day now as we try to improve the website ( aka “eating that elephant” ) and expand our line of products. We added several new items today so I hope you’ll stop by and check out the new offerings at www.thegentlemensquarter.com. Now I fear the current writing could use a little more work, but that will be changing too so please “stay tuned”.

For orders placed on the website, you will receive 10% off all items now thru midnight of Christmas Eve. If you haven’t tried our line of Top shelf products, please take advantage of the 10% off sale to give them a try.


If you’re new to wet-shaving be sure to take a look at our Starter kits with your choice of a shaving soap, shaving cream and a quality boar hair shaving brush made by Kent. If not for yourself, these would be a wonderful gift for the Holiday season that the recipient will be sure to enjoy. Choose your scent from those offered for the shaving soaps, and then under the selection of shaving creams for your choice of scent there. Please list your selection of scent for the shaving soap and shaving cream in the comment section when ordering.

The exception to our 10% off sale is our Handmade Bath soap. We've chosen to scent most of our all natural handmade bath soaps with Essential oils rather than fragrance, this increases the cost but we believe it's a difference you'll come to appreciate.

One bar of Handmade cold process bath soap is $7.95

Purchase two bars……the price is still $7.95 ea.

But if you purchase 3 or more bars, the price of all three drops to $6.95. So you save a dollar for each bar ordered…….. All bath soap is attractively labeled or wrapped with decorative art paper and ribbon, suitable for gift giving

When placing your order on the website, the shopping cart will automatically calculate the multiple order discount for the bath soap, and any other items ordered from the website www.thegentlemensquarter.com will reflect the 10% off.

All orders placed now thru Midnight of Christmas Eve will receive a discount coupon to be used in the month of January.

I would like to mention that while we do our best to keep the shelves stocked…..due to the handmade nature of our products I would suggest placing your orders early to avoid the possibility of an item being “out of stock” and ordering early gives us a better opportunity to serve you in a timely fashion.

Your site DOES look a good bit nicer, and I know that hasn't been an easy thing for you. Hehe, computereze ain't exactly your second language, nor is it mine. It's all about motivation isn't it Colleen?
I've posted multiple times in various forums about how your soaps work for me. They always provide some of my very best shaves..........a sure thing in the shaving world.......heh. Of course, the fragrances I use regularly add so much to the enjoying of the "velvety" lather, as you've described it in the past.
I'll most likely be taking advantage of your sale and will email you when I pull the trigger. Believe it or not, I'm mostly through the last large order we did. Sheesh, it never ends (which is good).

Ohhhhhh, since I'm typing this anyway: Colleen? Any chance of making another batch of the 'coconut cream' you offered this summer? That stuff has THE best lather for some reason (probably all in my head), and it's my favorite coconut version.

Sparky Thanks for the compliments on the website......wow! what a learning curve this has been, but worth the effort.

Shavingidiot...lol....what a name! Thank you for your kind words as well. I've sent you a long overdue PM.

Our Christmas sale is off to a good start, I'm hopeful to add another product or two today and tomorrow ( be later in the evening ) then I won't add anything else until after the first of the year.

Gents and Ladies there are about 7 days left to order from TGQ and still get your items in time for Christmas, especially if you are purchasing an item as a gift and will be sending it out to someone else. Order Early! and save yourself the chaos of the last minute rush....that's the key. ;)
