Very nice Steve.
I got an old J.A. Henkels Grooming Tool kit. The case has had it but the tools are really nice. There's a straight in there. But it's trashed and not an issue why I got it.

Question - use the blades or keep them as a collectible?

And I need it too. The youngster quarter cracked the inside front right at the coronary band this weekend. About 1 1/4 in diagonal down to the tissue. Vet cleanup, farrier special bar shoe and a vet revisit to band and screw it to stabilize. Been a a real up and down weekend.

Matt, that's a super nice razor! Now THAT'S minty! As for the blades, they are probably not so bad since they have been sealed, but I'd keep 'em sealed in the blister pack and just use new ones!
You gotta love the Postal service. They delivered my Colgate cannister that i won from ebay.

Awww...that really bites. I know you can file a claim if it was insured. Keep all packaging materials, receipts and so on but I know you'd rather have the item.

Max,
was it packed in a carton box or envelope? I cant believe that would happen to something packed in a carton box!

I think that's a crush result. Bubble wrap in a box can only protect so much.

Thomas, same here in Canada. Very few stores sell what we wetshavers need and want. In Sweden, you are lucky to have the Euro Palmolive cream, and sticks, we in Canada have no such beauties.....:( :( :( :(

Today I received a Thiers-Issard #69 Medaille straight (5/8).
That really sucks!
My question is how well was it packaged?
Packaging was normal. However, judging the damage, I'd guess that even if it was in an ammo box, it wouldn't have survived.
The ebay seller was great. Even though it defintely was postal service abuse, he refunded my money. A real stand up guy.

Picked up some Thayer's Rose and Lavender Toner today.
Ken, I bought both at the same time and find myself using the Lavender almost exclusively. In fact, I'm almost out of it and bought another a week or so ago. The Rose is still (almost) full. Not that I don't like it, it's just that I like the Lavender sooo much better.

I figured I would pick up both to see which I liked better. At least the Rose matches my Trumpers Rose soap.. :D

Ahh, now THAT's nice stuff! At least the cream is - don't have their soap. And that's about the only time I use Thayer's rose. Not bad, but the Lavender...:1respect

Some say the soap is too subtle but I like it.

My friend was in Egypt, and brought me back these nice creams:
1x Chabrawichi 555 s/c tube
1x Tamara s/c tube
1x Palmolive Menthol s/c tube (yes, menthol!)
also 1x Chabrawichi 555 cologne
I was shocked that there's a Palmolive Menthol in Egypt. The tube however, is blue, and the scent of the cream is completely different than what the Italian mentholated version is, but it's still very nice.

Peppermint A/S milk w/ extra added Menthol (the face freezer is back!!)
Elements of Bamboo Cologne (very lemony/citrusy scent... nice for Spring/Summertime!)
