Delicious-smelling shaving cream, with plenty of menthol in it, and a wonderful post-shave feeling! I'm ordering 3 more tubes of it, and I'm not even 1/8 through this one--am I a shave geek, or am I a shave geek! :rofl :rofl

Moustache + goatee. I checked to be sure and it seems there are actually many different interpretations of what a Van Dyke (or Van Dyck) is. Basically, I’d try something like that:

After not getting a good shave a few days in a row, I kept getting it in my head that I could get a better shave with the Mach3 so I tried it. It turns out that the same problem spots I have with the DE, I also have with the Mach3. The funny thing is, before I started shaving with a DE this problem spot wasn't there.
I had three passes WTG, XTG, ATG and my chin still has stubble. :mad: :mad:

At least I can continue on with the DE without wondering about it.

a very nice shave this morning. This Blix Fresh cream has a similar scent to Arko Moist, but nicer, with a somewhat higher menthol sensation, and excellent skincare. ;) :D

@james: What brand of blades did ya use in your DE?

I've been using Derby. Prior to that I used Crystals. I ended up getting pretty good shaves with the Derby up until the 3-4 shaves.

there's enough menthol in Noxzema cream, so that you don't really need a mentholated a/s splash or balm. This stuff is just so wonderful to shave with! ;) :D

Detailed tomorrow. A lot of The Shave Den Bergamont was used up in the last five days. A 4/8 Dovo straight made an appearance for small space work and last but certainly not least, the one and only Bill Ellis Shave Den Custom Drawing Razor debuted and highlighted today's shave. Wow, scary, smooth, wow. Jezzuz that thing looks scary/great. What whiskers? Where'd they go? Smooth baby, smooth. OMG! Is that mine? Wow.
