I don't know if Joe already posted pics and a description of the custom razor I was lucky enough get in an order from him but...
8/8 +
CPM154CM stainless blade steel, 1/3 hollow grind, 60-61 Rc hardness, cryo treated, extended shank and tang.
Vine and roses filework.
Honduras rosewood burl handles, CA finish. (Are those scales the balls or what?!)
Brass pins, wedge.
Phosphor bronze pivot washers.
Custom etching.
Sterling 3rd pin spacer. (The spacer locks the blade closed.)
Oh yeah and as I said to Joe: It's MINE, ALL MINE!!!!
Thank you Joseph!

How is this to hone and maintain? I'm not fluent in steelspeak.

If you know what you're doing, they're not bad at all. They can be a little bit tricky, as the wire edge can be a bit tough to remove. But that's usually only on the initial edge. Once it's been honed, it'll stay that way a good while, and isn't too tough to touch up. The steel, while hard and abrasion resistant, is very clean and uniform, giving it additional flexibility and making it easier to hone. A light touch is required on the final polishing, but that can be said of any razor. As far as maintenance, shave with it, and wipe it off. You'd have to intentionally mean to make it rust for it to do so.

Thanks for drooling, people! I've waited quite a while to acquire a few customs from a few people (some of you know who you are) and I couldn't be happier than with this work of art from Joe. (And it's not even in my hot little hands yet! :D) I mentioned to Joe my love for burled wood and he showed me pics of wood he was getting for scales. I picked what I thought would be nice for scales but when Joe had all the woods in person he suggested the rosewood. Do I need to say I trusted his judgement?
Does this mean you recuse yourself from the drawing?
Oh and Bill: HELL NOOOOOOO! :D (Oh and that goes for you to JoAnna ;) )
