I just got done showering and shaving (it's 11:00 pm here) with Proraso goo in a can and a Wal-Mart personna. I didn't think it was a good shave, but I didn't think it was awful. But just a moment ago, I noticed that the area under my chin was burning. So I got up to look in the mirror and was shocked at the number of nicks and scrapes. I absolutely can't wait to get back home and have a decent shave. I'm thinking about a feather and maybe some Mama Bear soap. Aaahhh...that sounds nice!

No. I keep an Arko shave stick and a boar brush in my travel bag, but when I arrived in Paris I discovered I didn't have a brush. Things went downhill from there.
