Hiya JB, they do also offer this in the aftershave balm, which I have, and an aftershave splash. I do like it, although the JF is also starting to grow on me. The Santal, to me, smells great. It reminds me a bit of the old Obsession Cologne, which I believe was by Calvin Klein? Of course, the Floris is of much higher quality.
To answer your question, it's a very nice fragrance, along with most of the other Floris options. I also think the Vetiver is very nice. Hell, they are all nice  I will probably wind up with the JF and Vetiver at some point.
You can find more expert analysis here, I really am new to the higher end stuff http://www.basenotes.net/ID26122384&page=reviews

Received last night from drugstore.com
6 oz bottle of Pinaud Vanilla - First time I've used this and it's great stuff!
6 oz tub barc shaving cream - Really good stuff too. Scent's only "meh" but it shaves really well and makes my skin feel great. To me the scent is a cross between the "chemical" undertones I smell w/any Salters/Vulfix creams and...a very subtle Coates Tea Tree. I think the tea tree is just me though b/c I compared ingredients w/my coates and didn't see anything that looked like tea tree oil. -> I liked this so much, I reordered 2 more tubs this morning.:D
Lastly - 1 12 pack of Savon de~luxe triple milled soaps. A variety pack of Vanilla w/loofah, rosemary mint w/mint leaves and lavender w/lavender buds.
Used the rosemary mint this morning and it's pretty good. The suds aren't as creamy as say, institue karite soaps, but overall good winter moisturization and a good scent. Though the lavender soaps seem to have "absorbed" the mint scent b/c I don't smell any lavender.

Hi Jb, they actually make an aftershave balm, scented with Floris' fragrances. I have the Santal, although the JF and Elite are both starting to grow on me (I have samples of them). I may wind up picking the later two at some point. Lots have said they didn't like the balm's as they are kind of heavy. I have dry skin, and when winter hits in Ohio, I need a heavy moisturizer, and so far the balm is perfect. Here's the link to them http://tinyurl.com/38aodf
If you contact Floris, they will send you a very nice sampler pack of the balms, shave creams and fragrances. Be forewarned though, only get the sampler pack if you are interested in buying, because you will want to buy ;)
As far as aqua velva, when I use my electric, which hasn't happend since I started wet shaving, I use aqua velva. Although Floris doesn't make a comparable product to aqua velva, aqua velva's quality is not even close to Floris. A good comparison would be a Chevy compared to a Bently. The Chevy will get you where you are going, but you'll be a lot happier in a Bently :D

While not shaving related (I seem to acquire very little of that nowadays... :p, just the trend I suppose) I did add some items to my liquor cabinet which should qualify :D
Yesterday I came across and bought a bottle of Chartreuse Green, and was very fortune to pick up a bottle each of Hennessy XO AND Hennessy Paradis Extra Rare.

Not a day too late.
I had a rough power of 10 session yesterday , I gave it all and could barely walk out of the gymn. I dumped myself into a massage chair and slept for 30m in it to recover. I was out of supplements 2 months already all I had was Creatine to give the muslces some extra but its way too little for the many excersizes I do a week.
I took some shake this morning and ill take one aswell before going to bed for major repairing.
1- chocolate whey a 902gm
3- strawberry whey a 902 gm
2- L-glutamine 500gm
1 MB (60 pills) -(extreme training similar to anabole steroids but not really steroids. it increases testoserone needed for muscle growth )
I tasted the strawberry nice taste I can really advice these people its a small company and the prices are really reasonable your paying for good stuff not a brand name.

A real good place to pick up high quality protien in bulk is http://http://proteinfactory.com/shop/product.php?productid=823&cat=0&page=1. They give you the option to buy 100% pure whey protein isolate as opposed to most mass marketed stuff, which is mostly whey protein concentrate. Plus, you can have it flavored with any number of different options.
Steve
P.S. I don't know if they ship overseas, I just realized your in the Netherlands.

your link the proteine is too expensive for me. if im correct the stuff I have is pure whey aswell not a concentrate and really affordable priced.

Jim, is that a silver grooming set?
I go to auctions and collectible stores and look for powder jars, etc. When I find them cheap, I clean them and then mill or melt my favorite soaps in them. Looks awesome. That is a vintage silver plated dresser powder jar. 3.99 in an antique mall in Iowa. The hammered metal tray and bowl is from Target, one for me and one right next to it for SWMBO. I use the bowl for my lather bowl. If you look close you can see the L'Occitane Almond Supple Skin Oil on her tray, I steal some when she is not looking. ;)

Well I'm not quite sure. I was having issues with it running on battery power. A quick search turned up a defective diode causing a premature discharge of the battery. I was gearing up to sending it back to HP for a repair when it simply conked out. Lights flashed like those on a Christmas tree then it shut down, whenever I tried to turn it on. Then it stopped doing that, just the power light flashing a few times then shutting down. In all of this the screen never lit up, no post at all. *shrugs* It was time for an upgrade anyway.
As for the new laptop, I like it but HATE Vista (Home Premium). I called Toshiba about downgrading to an XP Pro bundle, but they basically told me no dice. Claimed some of the hardware wouldn't work with XP. I don't believe them for a second, but I've pretty much come to accept it. I figure I'd need to learn my way around Vista sooner or later anyway, in order to continue my side work repairing the computers of those who have no business owning a computer.
