Ah, Fall is finally here. (Yeah, I know....but the temperature here in South Carolina just finally caught up to the calendar!!!)

What goodies did ya get this week?

Ok, I will start this off. Since I have managed to get the razor aspect down pat, the blades I am far from getting down, have a lot of free samples to get through which is going to take me while. The soap I have settled on (I think), I am turning my attention to the after shaves. Got myself a bottle of Acqua Velva. Does not burn like the Skin Bracer does and its not a gel like the Afta is, I don't like the idea of using a get as an after shave. This weeks, haul thus far consists of a bottle of acqua velva. That's great stuff. I can understand why so many men like the stuff. May try old spcie or Pinaud next. My conversations with other men on this forums tell me that the three leading brands that I can get in my are are Pinaud's Clubman, Combe's Acqua Velva, P&G Old Spice. Visited Cambridge Chemist today in NYC....very pricey...wont shop there again.but they got a good selection :)

I need to add one to my list. My collection of Supper Speeds is complete. I recieved a Gillette Blue Tip Super Speed in the mail today. Horray!!! the Super Speed collection, is compelte I have one of ever model of Super Speed. The Mrs. Thinks I have taken leave of my senses but when I have paid any mind to her.

Speick EDC (its a spray bottle)
Another Speick shave cream tube and shave stick

Hmm, let me see here. To James - I see you are at the start of the Super Speed adiction, these things are the best shavers ever made and tend to be very addictive. I know I have seven one of each model.

To johnniegold - Please tell me what your opinion of these after shaves are. I have been eyeing these products myself.

To steamroller - Looks like someone has been ordering from Giovanni at razor and brush.

The Bay Rum + Sandelwood was a great idea.......it smells almost "leathery".

It is amazing, John BR has a very unique old school BR scent. I love it, also the burn is different than other BR's.

Stopped by Floris on my way home today. Like a kid in a candy store. :rolleyes: I bought a box of aftershave splash since I am not really a balm kind of guy. The aftershave splash was 30% off. I believe this is the same sale price that they have on their website. Not a bad deal for some JF. The ladies there are very nice. I think Kathy went a little overboard on the No. 89 samples but who am I to complain? ;)

OMG.....let me just say.....its wonderful..after one application. I prefer it over my 3126. Its nice and small...but not to small. It lathered like a champ. In fact....i finally had one of the TraderJoe examples of how to make lather. I make it correctly with the SR, but it has never looked as good as it does with the Chubby.
