This was my first Schick Injector shave and I really enjoyed it and the Ted Pella blades provided a great shave. No burn or irritation whatsoever. And what's better than a healthy layering of TABAC. :D

Result: 4.6/5.0 BBS with almost no irritation. The Merkur Progress razor at 3 with the Sharp blade made one sweet cutting sound. It was singing to me. The talc gives a nice finishing touch as usual. The shave I did on Sunday was done in the bathtub while I was soaking in a a menthol mineral solution. Ahhh...heaven. I did the shave totally by feel with no mirror. Definitely a different experience. Not one nick though.

A good point, Johnnie--I have 2 Tabac sticks, and a bowl soap. I should definitely start using the stuff more often. Tabac is a soap fit for a KING!

Then lather up with T&H. after the shave a final lather up with T&H and a hot towel again.
Rinse Cold water and the shave fit for a King was done. huge fun the Custom George is scary !

its a 500ml Tube used by the Barbers in Italy . same recipy id think but I wouldnt know 100% sure cuz I never tried the small commercial versions id say theyre the same .

I got one left over which ill never even get to start on.. ill see if I can get some Newbie into it some Eucalypto starter kit or so.

Apply Sopping-Wet hot towel for 2 minutes, refreshing with new hot water as needed. (while in the shower)
Rinse face with fairly hot water,
Apply PREP Pre Shave Cream.
Apply light coat of lather (DIY Menthol Lather Cream) Rub in with brush (Muehle Pinsel Silvertip Badger) for 30-60 seconds. Let stand another 30 seconds. Rub with fingertips.

Another drunk on bay rum day.

There's something about the Cold Air that makes me want to use Bay rum. Seem to remember this phenomenon from last year ;)

Basically, a re-do of yesterday with a few swaps:

Wet face with warm water.
Smear on generous amount of Lucky Tiger Lemon Preshave Lotion
Shower, washing face last
Apply Sopping-Wet hot towel for 2 minutes, refreshing with new hot water as needed. (while in the shower)
Rinse face with fairly hot water,
Apply PREP Pre Shave Cream.
Apply light coat of lather (The Shave Den/'Hand of Queen' Bay Rum EO Lather Cream) Rub in with brush (Omega 6223 Pure Badger) for 30-60 seconds. Let stand another 30 seconds. Rub with fingertips.
Rinse with warm water, lather up (The Shave Den/'Hand of Queen' Bay Rum EO Lather Cream), and shave (1960 Gillette Superspeed Safety Razor w/ 7AM v.3 Double Edge Blade) Post:

Result: 4.3/5.0 One minor weeper on a blemish. With the Feather ACD-N, you could easily slice the whole thing off. :D Em's shave cream is very thin but it lathers up decent and has a lot of decent qualities. The colognes however are very strong and I prefer something more subtle.
