Smear on generous amount of Lucky Tiger Lemon Preshave Lotion
Shower, washing face last
Apply very damp hot towel for at least 2 minutes, refreshing with new hot water as needed. (while in the shower)
Rinse face with fairly hot water,
Apply Proraso pre-shave.
Apply light coat of lather (Klars Rasierseife) Rub in with brush (Muehle Pinsel Best Badger) for 30-60 seconds. Let stand another 30 seconds.
Rinse with warm water, lather up (Euro Palmolive Shave Cream), and shave (Gillette 1959 Fatboy w/ Astra Keramik Double Edge Blade) Post:

Result: 4.6/5.0 OK, where do I begin. I used the new Fatboy on Saturday and found it to be a nice mild shave. I use the Gold Super Adjustable on Sunday and Today. Also a mild shave. I threw the Treets in the Super Adjustable today. I'm trying to find the right razor for these blades. Guess what? They did fine in this razor. Three very good shaves.

Result: 4.2/5.0 Was not hapy with the cleanup. The Treet Carbon Blade continue to disappoint me. This was day three on the blade and it should have been switched out. Got to save those Feathers for when I really need them.

Blade points to my right ear. I do stretch the skin, usually there is just one small patch about the size of a 50 cent piece.

I switched hands this morning on the 2nd pass so the blade pointed more towards my chin. Smooth as a newborn baby! The Wostenholm is frighteningly sharp though. I will try again tomorrow with another blade to see if, just maybe, I have stumbled onto something.

I found a Mach 3 cartridge that I didn't remember I had, so I decided to give it a whirl, with my standard prep/routine. I gotta say... BBS with two passes (WTG and XTG), and no irritation/redness. I don't know if that would last if I used the Mach 3 for numerous days in a row, but as a one-off experiment, it turned out not that bad.

Shower, washing face last
Apply Sopping-Wet hot towel for 2 minutes, refreshing with new hot water as needed. (while in the shower)
Rinse face with fairly hot water,
Apply PREP pre-shave.
Apply light coat of lather (Godrej Lather Cream) Rub in with brush (Omega 6223 Pure Badger) for 30-60 seconds. Let stand another 30 seconds. Rub with fingertips.

Result: 4.0/5.0 The cream did not cushion at all and it just confirmed that I wasn't happy with the formulation. I was too close on the shave if there is anything that can be considered too close. I had to mix glycerin on my face in with the lather for the last pass to increase the protection and glide. I did end up with a couple of small nicks that sealed right away. Like I said, the cream gave almost no protection. What little there was left in the jar, I tossed.
