Well:ashamed001 my current set up is no bueno i have a fusion, a burma shave brush, shome cheap soaps from walmart and walgreens, a coffe mug, and some good after shaves, Aqua Velva classic, Skin Bracer and Club man aftershave:ashamed001 you see the thing is When my brother Isaac got me interested in this whole lifestyle when he came down for my wedding last week. I just got married so i havent been able to sink a whole lot into quality products, but hey you gotta start somewhere, He is sending me a DE and some other accoutrement hopefully soon. And the wife says on my next paycheck i can get other basics (better brush, mug, maybe some more soaps). Basically im a fresh off the line NOOB.

Oh my, you're in more trouble than you can possibly know, my friend! ;) If you have to get permission to buy "a" brush, you may want to reconsider participating in this forum. Maybe watches or antique cars or, you know, something less expensive! :rofl

Dont get me wrong its not that i have to ask permission. The thing is we have been married for a week and she moved to a new city to start our life she quit her job, currently looking and stressed about the bills from the wedding, I ask because i want her to know its important and that i am willing to sacrafice for a couple of weeks so that priorities are being met. Besides i gave her a hot towel noxema treatment last night and finished with a cooling toner. she loved it. i think she will be understanding as long as i keep doing that for her. "now i know why guys like going to the barber."

Take it a step further, and get her a nice razor, and brush, and creams of her own. Then she'll be urging you to buy even more stuff for yourself, so she can try them too. ;)
