After shave colognes

What is the difference between an after shave and an after shave-cologne? The reason I'm asking is I saw a bottle of Jovian Heat on sale at my local Eckerd's/Rite Aid for less than $5.00 and was wondering how it is used. While I'm asking what is a splash? :confused:

Aftershave cologne just has more of the scent added to a regular aftershave.

Thats pretty much the story, The Cologne will have more "Fragrance".

But an aftershave can also have other "stuff" like glycerin.....and some will have cooling, soothing, healing ingredients as well.

Generally, I refer to a "splash" as Any cologne or aftershave that doesn't have a spray nozzle attached
