Nancy Boy Signature Shave Cream

I tried the signature shave cream followed by the signature aftershave cooling gel.

I liked the shave cream, although it seemed like it took a lot of actual shave cream to make the usual amount of lather (compared to others) I really enjoyed the scent and feel of the shave cream, but not so much the aftershave gel.

Two things daunted me as I read the gel label (as opposed to being undaunted).
1.) contains alcohol. I didn't think it did. Didn't do my homework, I guess.
2.) "not tested on animals, tested on boyfriends" Knowing the stuff is made in San Francisco, the visual I got from this is just ewwwwwww.

it really did have a cooling effect, but I can really feel alcohol in aftershave balms, and don't care for it. Oddly enough, this stuff never stopped feeling a little sticky. 8 hours later, still felt a little sticky.
