Last night's supper. Was supposed to go out but my wife had caught my daughter's cold. I had enough warning so I could put this together.

Sliced local tomatoes with Buffalo Mozzarella Cheese dribbled with olive oil and fresh basil
Thin Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce
Loaf of warm Italian Bread with butter or extra virgin olive oil, crushed garlic, chopped fresh basil and parsley and balsamic vinegar for dipping.
Pinot Griggio Wine

Desert was small lemon, carrot and chocolate cake slices from a local bakery with Rick's Guatemalan Coffee in an AeroPress.

I swiped it from the back of one the tandem trailer trucks that constantly go between the public scales and the processing plant. Wait that was last week. This week, I dug up a few bulbs from the farm at the end of the street along with some red peppers. :D

Rattray’s Marlin Flake in Peterson churchwarden.

I’m afraid the pipe was contaminated by the Charles Mixture. I really, really need to buy another pipe, which I’ll do very soon. And I also need another ashtray, this one ruins the ritual.

My latest pics are not really inspired, but what the hell:

You can also use
The Professors Pipe Sweetening Treatment
to rid the briar of any nastyness.
Easy to do and very effective.

Thanks for the tips, guys. My pipe is not even well seasoned yet. A few more puffs and it should go. However, I really need to have dedicated pipes for my different tobaccos. Also, I’ll start a cigar/pipe smoking 101 later today. I think I’m not the only one in need of advice. :D

Great idea to keep your pipes separated.....I am not that dedicated, I'm afraid. :o

Well, I did not mean 20 pipes for 20 different tobaccos. More like one pipe for Virginia, another one for English blends, another one for things I have not tried yet. I think four or five pipes in the long term is very reasonable. Unfortunately, I have some expensive hobbies and my purse is not bottomless either. :o

Va
Latakia
Orientals
Aromatics (if tolerated :0)
Burleys

I just cant remember and am too lazy to keep track of what goes in what.
I do, however, have a spreadsheet set up to keep track of which blades I am using in what razor and what shave I am on.
Shows you where my priorities are :D

I was never that dedicated. I just refreshed them once in a while. Oh, and forgot to add that I would hold off on a Meerschaum lined pipe until you get the hang of things. If you tend to run a very hot pipe, you can crack them.
