The first one is a 9/8 one-off. The next 7 (continued in the response) are a 7 razor (8/8, alternating damascus/stainless) set.

The burl scales look great, a nice change of pace and something you don't see that often. The blades of course are outstanding. We'll have to talk about that damascus sometime, and I know for sure I want to take advantage of that custom etching on my next one.

Speechless, Joe. I'm left utterly speechless.

I just checked your web page -- are you going to have any more straights for sale soon? The one you have on your site (6/8 straight) for this month is already sold... or are you doing mostly restores for customers at the moment?

I've pretty much stopped using the website. Too many problems. I've got a few restoration projects left, but I'm mostly trying to get the customs finished.

I would love to buy and learn how to use and sharpen (maintain) a straight...

They are beautiful and if I ever bought one, my RAD would be intolerable for my wife...

We just wouldn't have enough room, but I think that would be the ultimate shaving experinece...

I wish I could learn how to keep one sharp without auctioning off my future grand children...

Sigh!!! Enjoy your shave...

Whatever is cleaver, Just save me a razor!.

A couple nights ago, this thread was the last thing I saw before going to sleep. Images of a straight razors........and trying to decipher Doc's post.

True story-------I dreamed that I was shaving with an actual meat cleaver

I just realized right now, why I had the dream :rofl Thanks for the bump, Oscar...
