after your last pass?

This morning I had a rush shave with a MACH3. :ashamed001 I still used my normal shave routine: brush, Proraso Pre, T&H 1805, Lucky Tiger, and ASB. I noticed after my last pass while doing a WWR that my face was a lot more slick and lubricated than it usually is after I use a DE. I had to do two or three WWR to get all of the lubrication and slickness left over on my face from the shave. That isn't the case when I use a DE. After my last pass with a DE my face just feels like it's wet compared to this.

I did the same amount and type of passes with my MACH3 that I do with a DE. WTG, XTG, XTG.

Is this normal for a DE or does it mean I might be using to much pressure or something? I only get irratation on one part of my neck now days so I thought I had it down.

The M3 is not taking as much off as a DE is too.

Ever notice the DE cleans the cream/soap of your face better with the passes.

But you should have SOME leftover with a DE shave, you may be OVER shaving a bit.

I didn't consider this, either. Now that I think about it, I often go over a place twice if the first pass didn't remove all of the lather. With the MACH3 I used light pressure, and didn't go over an area more than once per pass.
