Result: Blade Testing today with Treet Blue Steel blades. More drag than a lot of other blades in the Merkur HD 34C. 4.5/5.0 Shave even though I shaved left handed on the right side of my face. Tomorrow I will start shaving left handed to get used to it so I can improve my STR8 and Feather ACD-N techniques.

Result: 4.4/5.0 The new STR8 needs some more honing. Has a nice heft and feel to it. I then went to the 34C HD Classic/Treet for the second pass. Didn't like the result and finished up with the 37C Slant Bar/Feather. Much better thank you. I froze my face with the Olbas oil and Thayers Aftershave. Smooth and cool.

Result: 2.5/5.0 Blew it. I should have stuck to one pass since I'm just starting with this razor. I was OK until I went 45XTG. Picked up 3 weepers and some irritation. On the good side, I got a very close shave. I probably would have ended up with a great shave if I had left it one pass and clean up with a DE. Rats. Anherb to the rescue.

This was my first shave ever with a soap. It was also my first shave without irritation. To my surprise, I didn't have a bit of razor burn around my adams apple, where no matter what cream I use there is some kind of burn.

Result: 4.2/5.0 Still healing up bottom of neck but I got close to BBS. Used the The Shave Den Bergamot Shave Soap for the first time and the Floid Italian Aftershave. First impressions of the soap are very good. Lathered quickly, nice subtle scent, good quality lather with slickness, cushion and moisturizing. The Floid Italian aftershave is a very nice. Now, I wonder what the Spanish and Blue are like. Oh well.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Parker, after seeing such varying reviews of Parkers in general, I didn't know what to think. But it gave me a real nice shave with the Wilkinson. The long handle was interesting, I don't have any other DEs with a handle this long except for the one I started with. It did give it a nice balance and feel in my hand!

It turned out good despite the number of razors used. I decided to give the HD another try. It's great for my sideburns, cheeks, upper lip, and right before the curve of my chin but I was having problems on my neck so busted out the Slim. Still having problems with setting 3, I decided to dial it to 4 for the first time ever. Worked great except for under my chin, where I've been having problems from day on so I broke out the MACH3 to finish that up.

I was also having problems with MB's soap despite practicing and reading tutorials and how-to's. After trying to load my brush twice I decided to make some super lather.

Result: 4.5/5.0 Near BBS with healing up nice. One bad spot left. This was a concervative setup because I was going to the dentist this morning and I didn't want screw it up. I used the Treet Blade instead of the Feather because that is what I had in the razor from before. It still does not cut as smooth as I'd like and this is the 3rd blade I've tried.

Additional Note: I got my Dentist to try wet shaving. He'll be tracking down a new DE razor shortly. I'm sending him some packs of blades. I'm also giving a used DE and some blades to the guy who owns the best pizza parlor for 50 miles. I got him to go for wet shaving too. Of course, I directed them to here for wet shaving information. :D

ach ich hatte es falsches verstanden , du bist etwas krank. schade das zu horen und Yom Kippur nur einmal pro Jahr wusste ich auch nicht... also wird bal wieder stark ! wenn man krank ist und dan nicht est ist es sehr gefahrlich sie solten jetzt extra essen und vitamine C brauchen ! aber nicht zu viel essen den die energie von besser werden ist occupiert mit das essen im bauch also besser ist esse etwas kleines mahlzeit 6 mal pro tag.. etwas jede 2-3 stunden!
